Team Snowden will head to Scone where they can defend their Inglis 3YO Guineas title from 2017.
The father and son training duo have enjoyed good success at the Scone Carnival over the years and won the Inglis 3YO Guineas in 2017 with the China Horse Club-raced France.
Team Snowden again converge on Scone in 2018 and saddle up the favourite in this year’s Guineas, Moss Trip.
Moss Trip heads to Scone after winning the JB Carr Stakes over the same distance three weeks ago.
That win came off a freshen up which followed a fifth to Shoals in the Surround Stakes.
Form out of the Surround Stakes now looks particularly strong with the winner Shoals coming out and claiming the Robert Sangster Stakes (1200m) at Morphettville last Saturday.
Moss Trip is a filly in form and on Saturday contests the Inglis 3YO Guineas as one of the class runners in the field.
The daughter of Mossman looks well suited under Set Weights, meeting rivals with noticeably lower benchmark ratings at level weights.
By the time of the Inglis 3YO Guineas, 11 races would have been run at Scone meaning the track should be starting to favour swoopers.
Expect the Triple Crown-raced filly to take plenty of holding out.
Ghisoni will be tagged as our ‘each way play’ despite being a shade short of the necessary quote.
The mare has commenced her latest campaign well, finding the line nicely in both the Sapphire Stakes and the Godolphin Crown.
A dual Group winner, she is the proven mare of this field and looks well placed under Set Weights plus Penalties.
Furthermore, the daughter of Lonhro gets Blinkers applied for the first time which should spark additional improvement.
She should be peaking third up and the final piece of the puzzle is Tye Angland riding who is in white hot form at present.
