In the same race worked home Morton's Fork. He was just first-up there and the run said he was back in top order. He didn't improve in form terms second-up but his closing splits pointed to him having much more to offer having been too far from a tempo that was slightly steadier than true.
Like Cool Chap, perhaps even more he looks to have been left to peak on Saturday in the Final, as opposed to having peaked in the lead-up. It's a likeable profile and one worth of the bet-of-the-day stamp at HQ on Saturday.
